It started with awareness: how many things do we really need for our homes and everyday lives? Or rather, with the question: do we really need another plastic bottle in our home? And a second one. And a third.
We watched with horror as we threw away single use bottles every week, which lasted only a short time but stayed with us (and the environment) for hundreds of years.
In 2021, every EU resident generated an average of 36 kg of plastic waste, and a whopping 40% of it was single-use packaging. Only a small part was recycled.
We no longer wanted to be part of this statistic.
That's why One Blue was created: a local, ecological, and sensible solution for plastic-free cleaning without guilt!

We searched a long time for a name that would be simple yet meaningful.
